Take ½ cup of besan and mix it with approximately 1.5 cups of sour yogurt. Make a fine mixture and thereafter add spices such as red chili powder. Turmeric powder, coriander powder and whisk the mixture again without forming any lump. Thereafter, add enough water to ensure that the kadhi simmers for some time and forms a consistent gravy without being too thick or thin. For the measurement that we have mentioned, you can add 5-6 cups of water. In a kadhai, put approximately two teaspoonsful of mustard oil, some cumin seeds, methi seeds, and one chopped onion. Fry all these a bit and then pour the kadhi mixture and add salt as per your taste. 

While the kadhi is simmering, make pakoras with a mix of besan and spices such as chopped green chili, chopped onion, a pinch of turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander seeds, carom seeds and salt to taste. Mix everything well and heat the pan with oil to fry the pakoras. Thereafter, add pakoras in the kadhi and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes before switching off the gas.

You would need to soak washed moong daal overnight and form a paste next morning by grinding in the mixer. In the paste, add green chilies, chopped onions. Add some water and form a consistent liquid to spread it properly on the pan. Heat a pan and put 1 teaspoonful of refined oil. Pour the mixture and spread it evenly on all sides and let one side cook and become golden brown. Now, toss the chilla and let the other side cook and your moong dal chilla is ready. Serve with green chutney or sauce.

Indian Chicken Friend Rice 

Use the leftover rice for this recipe and cook chicken before in water by adding a bit of salt and pepper. In a heated pan with two tablespoons of oil, add chopped onion, coriander, green chili, capsicum, 1 whisked egg and stir fry all. Add the chicken and fry it for 2-3 minutes and add rice in the pan. Add salt to taste and let everything mix well on high flame for 4-5 minutes. Your Indian Chicken fried rice is all set to eat.
